Molly Malone's is one of those rare places that is an historic LA institution AND has held up its charm as a familiar neighborhood bar. It feels like a 'locals' spot without any pretension. You can walk in here without knowing anyone and feel welcomed and right at home. And you can really feel the history here, with the beautiful, original paintings of beloved regulars on the walls. The bartenders are some of the best people you'll meet in LA. Molly's is the best!...

Great place to drink, grab a bite to eat, play some darts, or listen to live bands perform (on certain nights). Bartenders and waitress don't disappoint either with good conversation and finely poured Guinness. You definitely feel the ambiance of a pub back in Ireland when in this spot! Paintings of previous customers of Molly Malones decorate every wall in the bar area and the music room next door sets the tone with dim lightings and a center stage which gets packed with people and great performances on days like St. Patrick's Day...

...They have cool, indie bands playing here on regular basis and we need venues that encourage local artists, so that's a plus in my book. Great menu, reasonable prices for food, nice beer selection. I like the atmosphere, it's fun to have live music and a beer! What more do you want? Great venue, I love older LA places that are still around and you go back to when you can and it's nice and familiar. You can count on Molly Malone's for a good time, a fun night out!

LOVE this place. The fare in the front bar is terrific comfort food. The staff there has always been welcoming every time I go. But their not-so-hidden secret is their stage in the back. They've hosted and boasted some of the top names in music, stand-up comedy, magic and more in LA on that stage, and I can't wait to see whom they showcase next. Thank you, MM's!
